“I am pleased to provide a recommendation for Michael Curran, with whom I worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Wyoming for 2 years. As aspiring professionals in the field of reclamation, Michael and I shared classes, discussions and club projects that covered many topics in the field. I have found him to be skilled in problem solving and adapting his knowledge to new situations and challenges. Michael's energy and enthusiasm for any task placed in his care results in thoughtful and thorough completion of those tasks and projects. He has demonstrated leadership by volunteering for key roles in the Restoration Outreach and Research (ROaR!) student chapter of American Society of Mining and Reclamation (ASMR) and the student farm, ACRES, among other campus organizations. Though I have moved on to the work world, I maintain regular contact with Michael, and am always glad to be able to engage with him in new discussions about challenges in our chosen field. I am pleased to provide a recommendation for Michael Curran. He is an nergetic and committed professional who will be an asset to any organization in which he works.”
